Through an accident of science tens of millions of Americans have been transformed into ravenous cannibals. But this is far from a zombie apocalypse. So long as they satisfy their hunger for human flesh, these cannibals can still think—and those that do have rebuilt America into a twisted mockery of what once stood before. Now, civilization has been replaced by an anarchy of city states and warring cannibal factions, each pursuing the same dark purpose: To harvest human meat.

The City States are beginning to fall under the onslaught of The Evolved, and the outlying kingdoms won’t be far behind if the humans and cannibals caught in the path of destruction can’t find a way to work together and turn the tide. Meanwhile, the Russians and Chinese are done waiting and have begun preparations for the first wave of their invasion of America. When they finally cross the DMZ and land on American soil, will they find a kingdom of bones or a threat greater than anything they could have possibly imagined?
