Sherlock Holmes was not happy. "No, Mrs. Hudson, I will not see her now. Send her away and tell her to come back later." Royston Giles Tamblyn III paid a visit to 221B Baker Street without a prior appointment on the morning of Saturday, 4 May 1901. He was a handsome young fellow, with flawless pale skin, well-combed hair that was blond-on-its-way-to-brown, and straight, gleaming teeth. He was dressed in a blazer and flannels, a creaseless white shirt, and an expertly tied old-school tie. In his polished boots, I could have seen my reflection had I bent over to inspect them.

At Oxford University, an influential professor has been proselytizing for anarchism. Three naive students fall for his doctrines and decide to engage in direct action by stealing priceless artifacts from the British Museum, returning them to the oppressed people from whom their colonial masters stole them. In the midst of their caper, a museum guard is shot dead and they are charged with the murder. After being persuaded by a vulnerable friend of the students, Sherlock Holmes agrees to take on the case. He soon discovers that no one involved is telling the complete truth.

The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes is a collection of twelve short stories by British writer Arthur Conan Doyle, first published on 14 October 1892. It contains the earliest short stories featuring the consulting detective Sherlock Holmes, which had been published in twelve monthly issues of The Strand Magazine from July 1891 to June 1892. Holmes deduces that Hosmer was Mary's stepfather in disguise, the charade a bid to keep Mary a spinster and thus maintain access to her inheritance.

When the renowned entrepreneur and inventor Alfred Nobel died, his last will contained the establishment of a foundation for the betterment of science and peace. However, the testament disappears and Sherlock Holmes is called to Stockholm.

Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson are invited to the wax museum of the Tussaud family. In the chamber of horrors, alongside the wax figures, there lies a real human corpse of mysterious origin.

Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson were about to have a quiet afternoon in Schönbrunn Zoo during their stay in Vienna, but instead they find a murder victim in the reptile house. And one thing is certain the crocodiles are not the killers they are looking for.

After a series of attacks on the Ottoman administration in Palestine, Sherlock Holmes receives an order from the British government: he is to travel to Jerusalem with Dr. Watson to track down the disruptors and prevent any further destabilization of the region.

Scotland Yard is asking Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson for assistance in a high class restaurant in London. The Chef was murdered in a perfidious way not surpassed in atrociousness.

Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson are called in by Inspector Lestrade for a mystery at the Court Theatre involving a prominent actor from the London Shakespeare Society who was found dead on stage after a rehearsal.

Lord Robert St. Simon's new American bride, Hatty Doran, has disappeared almost immediately after the wedding. The servants had prevented an old love interest of his from forcing her way into the wedding breakfast, Hatty had been seen in whispered conversation with her maid, and Inspector Lestrade arrives with the news that Hatty's wedding dress and ring have been found floating in the Serpentine. Holmes quickly solves the mystery, locating Hatty at a hotel with a mysterious, "common-looking" man who had picked up her dropped bouquet after the ceremony.
