  • WGL It's Always Been Rising: a poem
    Apr 2 2024
Another poem generated from another walk. Cause, come on, that's where most of the magic happens. 'It's Always Been Rising' is a reference to smoke from one of the most famous Hebrew scriptures...About a guy who happened upon a bush that was on fire, but not being burnt up. It is always rising. They are always speaking. Blessings.

Started this little poem on a walk with my dog Patch. I was overwhelmed by the goodness and grace of life. Enjoy.

So...This one sat in my computer for a bit. Didn't feel finished. Not even close. Not even close to close. Just a couple of thoughts about some of the best people I've known. Not finished. The title might be the best part. This is about my friends in the disability community, but I don't do them justice and I can't possibly communicate how much they've changed my life. But. It's been the block to my podcast- so time to unblock. Here we go. Blessings.
