Seine Arbeit – in der HIV-Forschung und auch in Sachen COVID-19 – konzentriert sich auf das Verständnis der Mechanismen des Viruseintritts, der antiviralen Immunität und der Entwicklung neuer diagnostischer und therapeutischer Ansätze. Darüber hinaus ist ihm Gleichberechtigung auch in der Wissenschaft und die Nachwuchsförderung wichtig – ein schönes Gespräch!
