  • EP 257 Anne & Kelli chat ABC Islands, Las Vegas, Palm Springs, the laughs and flight delays in between & so much more!
    Nov 21 2025

Join Anne & Kelli for their 257th NEW episode of #ilovemywife podcast

This episode is actually recorded from their home but is all about their crazy travels the last two weeks that starts when they were still sailing on a Celebrity ship. Hear about a Curacao drink separation, an Aruba awkward sunscreen moment that no one experienced but Kelli, another Trainwreck Poop Cruise conversation that went next level and Anne's very awkward moment backstage with a hot aerialist that she is still laughing about.

After several flight delays, they next headed in different directions with Anne headed home for a few days (which involved a DoorDash and Taco Bell delivery mess) and Kelli headed to Las Vegas to begin her annual Signature Travel Conference. Kelli spent the wek feeling inspired by travel and all of the incredible people she always meets there every year.

Next, Anne flew out to join Kelli in Las Vegas for a couple of nights. She talked about traveling alongside some Bravo celebrities that were on their way to Vegas for BravoCon, including Sonja Morgan from RHONY. After the conference they spent the day at the pool and had dinner at their favorite place Wakunda, where they always have the White Fish Sunomono and wagyu beef rolls.

Lastly, they began their annual roadtrip from Las Vegas to Palm Springs for Anne's concert there. After their visit to Cane's for chicken, they stopped at the grocery for food/drinks for the house in Palm Springs and Anne had an unfortunate bathroom issue that you have to hear to believe. Finally, after a beautiful drive across the desert, they arrived at a house that was loaned to them by their friend Cindy and it was absolute perfection! They had dinner with friends, lunch at the house, an interesting tech rehearsal where everyone was decorating for Christmas and then finally an amazing show by Anne and her MD Nate Buccieri. Then it was Sunday Funday where they started at a sports bar watching the Packers play, then went out with the Thailand crew for cocktails and a tea dance. They next day the headed home with MANY more flight delays the ended up with them arriving home at 3am! They now get a week at home that involved Dr appointments, decorating their new apartment for Christmas for the first time, dinner with their kids and seeing Wicked 2 with Anne's Mom!

Finally, they answer a listener question from Paul and Dennis and about their favorite travel destinations in these categories: absolute beauty, history and wildlife. They also mention their new merch store that is coming soon and just in time for the holidays!

Hear their new travel hacks. This week Kelli talks about pressure points to help with travel and Anne talks about pillow spray.

Next, they welcome back their special guest Ben, their youngest listener at 9 years old and often travel buddy. He talks about traveling to Thailand with them and all of the things he liked the best from the hotels to the cooking class to the elephants, it's really fun to see what the same trip looks like through Ben's eyes.

  • EP 255 Anne & Kelli chat about Thailand & the lifechanging journey that happens every time
    Oct 31 2025

Join Anne & Kelli for their 255th NEW episode of #ilovemywife podcast

This episode is all about their recent trip to Thailand…the incredible parts, the hilarious parts and of course the travel ups and downs.

They start the show off talking about getting to Bangkok via Salt Lake City (for a one-night stop) and then on to Seoul and then finally Bangkok on their favorite airline Delta. They also talk about why being faithful to one airline is so important. They chat about the pre-trip at The Siam, a gorgeous boutique hotel in Bangkok (where they recorded 2 TikToks) and then moving on a few days later to the stunning Four Seasons where they met up with the rest of the KelliGregg Travel group and their guides Thippie and Tony.

Next, they chat about touring the Grand Palace, everyone's first Thai massage and the hilarious reactions people had, traveling to Ayutthaya Historical Park to see the ancient ruins, having dinner at NOBU on the rooftop, Anne waking up with a green gummy bear stuck in her pajamas, going to the Floating Market and drinking lots of Chang beer, learning the Kindergarten Elephant Song thanks to their tour guide Tony and wrapping up the trip with Thai dancers, drinks and lots of laughs in the Four Seasons lobby bar.

Hear all about their next part of the trip in Chiang Mai where they began by having a lunch of Khao Soi, a traditional dish in that region that is sweet potato noodles! Next, they took a trishaw tour of Chiang Mai and Anne's driver was very old and skinny so other drivers where helping push her cart along. The following day they headed to Patara Elephant Farm & Sanctuary. They had the most incredible experiences that you have to hear to believe that included feeding the elephants, brushing them, and bathing them in the rushing river. After that day they went to a Night Market where they shopped for gifts and then they went to a Cabaret Show that was filled with gorgeous drag queens with fab costumes and lots of choreography and backup dancers! Finally they had a full crafty day starting with indigo tie dying, painting traditional Thai umbrellas and ending with a cooking class where they made their own 4 course dinner.

Lastly, they talk about their final leg of the trip that ended in Phuket at their favorite hotel The Slate. Every guest traveling with them had their own pool suite which means a private backyard with a big plunge pool, and outdoor bathtub, lounge chairs, a couch and a table and chairs. It is a magical place. In Phuket they spent one day on a speed boat traveling to an island where they kayaked through caves, went swimming, visited James Bond Island where one of the movies was filmed and had more Chang beer on the beach. Another day they shopped in Old Town Phuket and took a sunset cruise on a luxury catamaran. The rest of the trip was spent relaxing at the resort and enjoying one more day at the spa. Now they are home recovering from jetlag before they head out on another Celebrity Cruise where Anne is performing!

They next do their travel hacks. This week Kelli talks about using toothpaste to treat mosquito bites and Anne talks about traveling with bathroom wipes especially in places like Thailand where they may not provide paper in the bathrooms.
