Raised by two completely deaf parents, Nanette grew up navigating a world of silence and struggle. Despite being baptized as a child, she turned to relationships, drugs, and the occult, searching for love, power, and significance.

But when her life became unbearable, Nanette chose to return to Jesus. After meeting and being discipled by a faithful couple, she learned to read and cherish the Scriptures. Through this relationship and the power of intercessory prayer, Nanette experienced complete deliverance from demonic oppression---radically transforming her life.

That tension led her to years of pretending faith while quietly questioning if God was even real—or if He would accept her passion for science.

Everything changed when a woman shared the Gospel with her and encouraged her to bring her doubts to God instead of running from Him. It was in that moment of honesty and surrender that Kalen invited Jesus into her heart and began a real relationship with Him 💕
