Did you ever think about the number of people who are not teachers but work in the field of education? The University of Akron is launching the Bachelor of Arts in Community and Workforce Education major to help address a growing need. The LeBron James Family Foundation School of Education Director, Dr. Gary Holliday, and the assistant director, Dr. Renee Mudrie explain it all in this episode.

There are gaps in history- missing pieces, missing voices. The LGBTQ+ community is often among them, but a grant-funded project could change that, at least for Akron and Summit County. Tony Pankuch, education and outreach coordinator at the Cummings Center for the History of Psychology and Dr. Hillary Nunn, professor of English, are collecting artifacts for the Akron LGBTQ+ Archive at The University of Akron Archives & Special Collections.

Akron Alight, Surviving Prohibition in Akron, and Neighbors Worlds Apart are three exhibits in Olin Hall produced by University of Akron students from the Department of Anthropology. Sea Berry describes some artifacts found during archeaological digs and learning about their meaning.
