About this listen
Paul Doyle, who used his car as a "weapon" to drive into crowds at Liverpool FC's victory parade has been jailed for 21 years and six months.
The judge told him he drove at crowds in a rage after his anger took hold of him.
The 54-year-old has pleaded guilty to dangerous driving, affray, 17 charges of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent, nine counts of causing GBH with intent and three counts of wounding with intent.
The ex-Royal Marine, who stared straight ahead with no expression as he was sentenced, now starts a life behind bars.
