  • Why I Ditched CapCut For Instagram Edits

    On January 19, 2025, the long-awaited TikTok ban went into effect. A favorite social platform was gone (so we thought), along with the popular social media editing app, CapCut, which is owned by TikTok. Our feeds were filled with goodbye videos and error message screenshots but something else happened that day: Instagram announced their own social media editing app, Edits.

    Now that Edits has launched and been around for a few weeks, here's my official review including, favorite features and opportunities.
