🔥 The Christ | Week 1 🔥

On the Day of Pentecost, the God who is everywhere chose to be somewhere and pour out His Spirit. What seemed “sudden” in Acts 2 was always part of God’s plan of redemption—restoring authority, releasing heaven’s language, and igniting the Church with fire.

In this message, Pastor Jason shows how every great move of God throughout Scripture was preceded by famine—Abraham, Isaac, Joseph, Ruth, David, Elijah, Elisha, and Jeremiah. The Holy Spirit, the same power that raised Jesus from the dead, permanently dwells in every believer. This indwelling Spirit brings life-giving power that can transform our physical bodies and circumstances. Our thinking determines our living, which is why we must intentionally renew our minds with God's Word. There are two kinds of wisdom: the limited wisdom of our five senses (Tree of Knowledge) and the higher spiritual wisdom (Tree of Life) revealed through the Holy Spirit. By embracing this spiritual wisdom and the authority it gives us, we can overcome sickness, disease, and the fear of death to walk in abundant life now.

God calls fathers to defy gravity by rising above worldly expectations and bringing heaven's influence into their families. This requires knowing your true identity as a father through God's Word and addressing past wounds rather than transferring them to the next generation. Taking care of your marriage is essential, as children learn from how you treat your spouse. Serving in church strengthens your spiritual growth while providing accountability and community. Finally, fathers should replicate themselves through mentorship, connecting their families with other godly influences that extend beyond their personal limitations.
