Einmal im Jahr wird Wien zur internationalen Hauptstadt des zeitgenössischen Tanzes. 1984 wurde das ImPulsTanz-Festival gegründet, heute ist das Festival ein Fixpunkt für die internationale Tanz- und Performanceszene. Vom klassischen Ballett bis zu Jazz und Afro, von der zeitgenössischen Performancekunst bis zur Clubkultur der Gegenwart - das Festival feiert die Spielarten von Tanz und Performance. Zum Auftakt gastiert das legendäre Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch in Wien.
