  • In this episode Iris Wolk joins the show to share her story of growing up and being influenced by the social worker assigned to her as an orphan. In and out of foster homes, she was welcomed into a family when she was 9yrs old and given a second chance to be part of a loving and nurturing family. Iris married soon after graduating high school, had three children and for years supported her husband’s academic track until she decided it was her turn to get back to her own studies to pursue a degree in Social Work.

Her desire to give back and work in service was part of her life from those early years, and she knew it was where she needed to make a great impact. Tune in to hear how her life unfolded at each step, and the exceptional work she and her husband do today.
