It's the last week of Spooktober y'all! This week, we are finishing off our fright fest with a bang! Happy Halloween!

Today, we are reviewing the 1978 film, Halloween, a classic horror staple. This movie was directed by John Carpenter, and it was Jamie Lee Curtis' breakout role!

In this episode, we talk about the iconic music, the characters, and we discuss some psychological research connecting fear with arousal in not just this movie but also the horror genre as a whole.

ALSO, today marks officially one year since the very first episode of What's the Dill?!!! WOW! I can't believe it's already been one year. Thank you so much to everyone who has watched and supported! I cannot do this without you. Truly, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

It's Spooktober Week 3 y'all! This week, we are continuing on with watching horror movies to fit the Halloween vibes of the month!

Today, we are reviewing the 2023 film, Five Nights at Freddy's. This movie was directed by Emma Tammi, and the sequel comes out this December!

In this episode, we talk about the lore of the FNAF franchise, dream theory, the Afton family tree, and how much I love FNAF! We also talk about casting choices, and I read my notes from when I actually watched the movie.

Today, we are reviewing the well-known Disney classic, Hocus Pocus. This movie was directed by Kenny Ortega, and it follows three witches, the Sanderson Sisters, as they try and are children in to live forever. Winifred, Mary, and Sarah have to face a few obstacles along the way.

In this episode, we talk about the Halloween icons themselves, and we talk about what it was like for me to watch this movie for the first time! We also dive into the lighting, costuming, and we even ask a question about a plot hole that I still do not know the answer to! Hope you enjoy!

This film is based on the game Clue (Cluedo in some regions), and it's TONS of fun!
