Och aye, the newest love story has arrived.

We interrupt your regularly scheduled Polin Week to swish our way into Season 5 and celebrate the burgeoning romance between the quietest Bridgerton and her auld acquaintance, Michaela Stirling.

We’ll be swapping our mourning veils for kilts and heading up to the Highlands for a wee bit of puzzling, a big bit of yearning and a good old fashioned time jump.

On the way back from our Scottish sojourn, we’ll be visiting Benophie at Their Cottage before heading to Featherington House in hopes of finding Colin Bridgerton fully in frame and ready to matchmake.

And after we’ve muddied our hands planting seeds for a future love match, we’ll be searching the greenhouse for a missing botanist and checking the fifth Bridgerton for inky fingers.

Flowers may take a while to grow but the Good Ship Franchaela is ready to go.

But with a jail break in hand and a maid running free, we’ll be gathering at the grandest night of the year to spin a fantastical tale about the love match of the season: Miss Sophie Gun and the brother to the Duke of Hastings.

Now that we’ve finished polishing a hundred pairs of Araminta’s shoes, it’s time to peek through the doorway of our Season 4 Part 1 reaction. No need to pack a bag – just grab a couple of counterfeit shoe clips and a feverish artist for a sublime day in the country.

Once we’ve dried ourselves off from a dip in the lake, we’ll be heading back to Mayfair to continue our fruitless search for Glove Lady, a coherent timeline, and Francesca’s elusive pinnacle.

It has been quite a journey we have taken together, dear listeners.

At long last, it is time to fluff our ostrich feathers and step into the light for the final part of our S3E8 rewatch.

And after a chat on the swings with Beloise, we'll be packing our bags for Scotland and joining a (finally!) happily married couple on the steps of Bridgerton House to we wave goodbye to Season 3 for one last time.

Our love story is now complete, dearest listeners. And, forgive us, but that was bloody brilliant. But it's time now to look toward the future, whatever it may bring.
