When someone says explain the Gospel, you might feel an immense pressure to be absolutely perfect and elaborate in telling of the life of Jesus. Before I had read the Bible and really became a Christian, someone talking about "the Gospel" made me feel intimidated and a little bit nervous! That sounds like a big deal. It sounds important. And I thought it would be way too complicated for me to understand! The Gospel does not have to be some big, intricate, complicated theory you tell people who are new in Christ or to unbelievers. The simple truth is this: Jesus died for our sins and if you declare Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, we will be saved (Romans 10:9)! In Jesus and Jesus only, we have eternal life!!! Study Scripture with me as I talk about what the Gospel really is in simple and plain terms!!
