 In this episode our hosts Jason Duff and Jim Kocis talk with Veronica Wilde, Head of External Communications for the Energy Management Program at Western Colorado University    100% student placement into the industry, NAPE attendance to max the value of the students, proactive student clubs and elks and turkeys on the fairways…….a passionate view from Veronica on what her role is at Western Colorado around fostering communications, strategic partnerships, industry connections and setting up mentorship opportunities for every student in the Energy sector.  We also cover the proper pronunciation of “Alumni” – whether you prefer the Scottish or American version, the graduates of this program have a bright future.     The Energy Management Program at Western provides students with an understanding of the business of energy and mineral exploration. Students also learn land and resource management principles from the perspective of business administration, economics, geology and environmental studies.
