    It's December 1944, the coldest winter in recent European history.

    World War II seems to be ending in German retreat and defeat until a last-gasp Nazi counterattack punches through the thin American lines.

    This massive German counterattack to split the Allied Armies created a large gap, or bulge, in American lines near the Belgian City of Bastogne.

    It will be forever remembered as the Battle of the Bulge, the last and greatest battle between the Allies and Germans on the Western Front.

    At great cost, the Americans have stopped the German Army's advance toward the port at Antwerp, Holland.

    The two Armies have settled down in the bitter cold in a battle of attribution and perseverance.

    It's on that snowy battlefront that we meet two snipers. One American. One German.

    In a captivating story, these soldier's lives and decisions will determine who lives and dies.
