Metro Detroit sports writers Jonathan Szczepaniak and Kam Goodwill welcome everyone back for the second episode of Backyard Benchwarmers. High school football is hot in the streets and so are many other fall sports as well as we kickoff the 2023-2024 high school athletic season. Week two is in the books for football, and we discuss who is hot, who is still finding their footing, and what is the current state of MHSAA football. We're still fine tuning audio and trying to perfrect it to the best of our ability, so apologies in advance.
