  • Ep. 029 - The strange science of dreams | REM, lucid dreams & everything else (pt. 1)
    Nov 27 2025

Welcome to Part 1 of our deep dive into dreams: the bizarre, emotional, story-like worlds our brains create every night.

    In this episode, we explore:

🌙 What a dream actually is

🌙 Why dreams feel emotional, illogical, and so weirdly familiar

🌙 How our brain reuses real faces instead of inventing new ones

🌙 REM vs non-REM dreams, and why the wildest dreams happen before you wake up

🌙 The top scientific theories behind why we dream at all

🌙 Whether dreams really have meaning

🌙 Common dream themes (falling, being chased, losing teeth… we’ve all been there)

🌙 Lucid dreaming, nightmares, sleep paralysis, and how they’re connected

Dreaming is something every human experiences… and yet it’s still one of the biggest mysteries in neuroscience.

So today we explore what we know, what we don’t, and why your brain simply cannot create a brand-new face from scratch.

Part 2 is coming soon, where we’ll dive deeper into dream interpretation, symbolism, and the psychology behind our dream worlds.

  • Ep. 028 - Our Realistic Morning & Night Routines
    Nov 20 2025

This week we dove into something we are both deeply passionate about… Sleep.

We compared our nighttime and morning routines, talked about why we push our bedtimes back for no reason, and admitted just how much our partners influence when we actually wake up. Alba explained her iconic sunrise lamp ritual and Saoirse revealed her new 5:45 a.m. life.

We also share what’s actually helped us sleep better lately: journaling, having a consistent bedtime, making the bedroom a bedroom and not a cinema, disconnecting from screens (we try…), and reframing sleep as a productivity tool instead of the sad end of the day.

If you’re tired, overwhelmed, or just curious about how two women with chaotic work schedules try to stay human… this episode is for you. Come be sleepy with us. 🌙

  • Ep. 027 - An introduction to sleep & why it's the most important thing
    Nov 13 2025

We spend about one-third of our lives asleep — yet most of us don’t really know why. In this episode of We Will Manage, we dive into the fascinating science of sleep: what happens in our brains and bodies while we rest, why “catching up” doesn’t work, and how sleep shapes our mental health, creativity, and emotional balance.

From REM dreams to burnout recovery, we explore why neuroscientist Matthew Walker calls sleep not just a pillar of health, but the foundation every other pillar leans on.

    Topics covered:

    • Why we sleep (and what happens when we don’t)

    • The stages of sleep: light, deep & REM

    • Sleep’s link to anxiety, focus, and emotional regulation

    • Surprising facts & myths about rest

    • Our own stories of sleepless nights and lessons learned
