Our story follows Cole Walker, a young wastelander born and raised under the constant threat of radiation, raiders, and other terrors that prowl the ruins. When settlers from his small village start disappearing without a trace, Cole is the only one brave - or crazy - enough to track them down.

His search leads him deep into the treacherous Glowing Sea, the most irradiated hellhole this side of the Mississippi. There, he teams up with Ruck, a grizzled survivor who knows the twisted land like the scars on his knuckles. Together they discover the settlers held captive in a ramshackle shack, but an even greater menace lurks in the shadows.
