This week became a discussion about the importance of goaltending and where Cup Contenders stand in terms of their goalie tandems. We are past the days of one goaltender leading the charge. Each team now needs a quality starting netminder and a quality backup or 1B goaltender that can take a 20+ game load off of the starter to provide quality depth for a long playoff run.
