About this listen

WAIT CONFERENCE’26| Day 14| WORSHIP THE CRY OF “ABBA FATHER"| CHIMDI OHAHUNA In this episode of WAIT CONFERENCE’26, we are exploring the heart of worship as more than just songs or rituals, it is the intimate response of our spirit to God’s Spirit. Worship is where we find ourselves crying out, “Abba Father” (Romans 5:8; John 3:16), embracing the reality that God’s love is relentless and His fatherhood never gives up on us. Think about it: even a father with a wayward child still longs to be called “father.” That’s the picture of God’s love, continuous, perpetual investment in us, no matter how far we wander. Through salvation, He reached out to humanity, and our worship is simply responding to that love (Romans 8:15–16). This session reminds us that: - God’s fatherhood brings freedom: “If the Son sets you free, you are free indeed” (John 8:36). - The enemy tries to weigh us down: not always with sin, but with distractions and burdens that make us forget we already have a Father who meets our needs. - Without Him, we are incapable: true worship acknowledges our dependence on God and celebrates His sufficiency. In addition, this session is all about resting in the Father’s love, shaking off the weights, and enjoying the freedom that comes from knowing we belong to Him. Worship is not striving, it’s responding. It’s crying out “Abba Father” with confidence, knowing we are loved, accepted, and free. Tune in to this heartfelt session and be reminded: worship is not about what we can do for God, but about living in the joy of what He has already done for us. Jesus is Lord.
