Die Vrystaat Landbou (VL) se kongres het 7 & 8 Augustus in Bloemfontein plaasgevind. Die organisasie het vanjaar hul 120ste bestaansjaar gevier en het gehoop om met dié kongres saam met belanghebbendes te bou op die suksesse wat die bedryf reeds behaal het.
Gernie Botha, hoof- uitvoerende beampte, het verduidelik dat die tema van vanjaar se kongres die Latynse gesegde "quo vadis" was, wat in Afrikaans vertaal word met "waarheen gaan jy".
