  • Healing Through Resilience: Acupuncture, Movement, and Holistic Health for Women Over 40
    Feb 20 2026

In this powerful episode of the Vivatude Podcast, certified health coach and fitness professional Tracy Cromwell sits down with Dr. Shay, an acupuncturist, professor, author, and holistic coach, to explore what it truly means to heal—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. With more than a decade of experience across disciplines including acupuncture, fitness, nutrition, martial arts, and mindfulness, Dr. Shay shares how an integrative approach to health can help women over 40 build resilience, strength, and fulfillment through every season of life.

Dr. Shay opens up about her own life-altering car accident and the long road to recovery that followed—while she was finishing her medical boards. Together, Tracy and Dr. Shay discuss how physical fitness, mindset, movement practices like tai chi, and even creativity and play (yes, improv comedy!) can become powerful tools for healing. This episode speaks directly to women navigating injury, unexpected change, caregiving responsibilities, or feelings of loss—offering hope, perspective, and practical strategies for reclaiming well-being.

The conversation also dives deeply into caregiver wellness, emotional boundaries, and the often-overlooked need to “care for the caregiver.” Dr. Shay explains how acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine address not just pain, but the body’s stored stress and emotional weight—what TCM calls Shen, or spirit. If you’re a woman over 40 seeking holistic health, emotional resilience, and a more compassionate way to support both yourself and others, this episode offers insight, validation, and actionable tools you can start using today.

  • Untangling the Karmic Knot: Spiritual Practice, Mantra & Midlife Alignment
    Feb 18 2026

In this episode of Vivatude, Lauren Archer sits down with Rebecca Rama Devi Prien, author of This Again: Untangle the Root of What Distracts & Derails You from Your Life’s Work and host of the Sacred & Strategic podcast, for a rich and grounded conversation about the deeper patterns that quietly shape our lives — and how spiritual practice can reveal what strategy alone cannot.

Rebecca brings a rare fusion of intellect and soul to this dialogue. Trained in elite academic and professional environments before turning toward spiritual practice, she now works with purpose-driven women who are highly capable, highly strategic — and often unknowingly over-reliant on the mind. Her work invites a return to a deeper intelligence accessed through spiritual practice, particularly Sanskrit mantra.

Lauren shares that listening to Rebecca’s audiobook was the first time, as a Western woman, she truly understood mantra not as belief or philosophy, but as an embodied spiritual technology. Together, they explore how midlife can serve as a powerful threshold — a time when familiar patterns resurface not as failures, but as invitations to untangle what Rebecca calls the karmic knot.

    In This Conversation, You’ll Explore

💠 Why there is often one core issue at the root of what distracts and derails us — no matter how many ways it appears

💠 What a karmic knot is, why it is so stubborn and elusive, and why mindset or strategy alone cannot fully resolve it

💠 How some patterns may be inherited from ancestry, culture, or the collective, rather than originating with us personally

💠 Why spiritual practice is underdeveloped in modern culture — especially for women trained and rewarded for strategic thinking

💠 How chanting Sanskrit mantra works at an energetic level to untangle deep patterns with clarity and precision

💠 How midlife can become a sacred initiation into alignment, purpose, and embodied wisdom

💠 A Core Insight from Rebecca

In a culture that prioritizes strategy, metrics, and logic, spiritual practice is often viewed as secondary or suspect. Rebecca explains that when used intentionally, spiritual practice doesn’t replace strategy — it reveals it. Through spiritual practice, we gain access to intelligence, insight, and solutions that the thinking mind alone cannot reach.

Rather than forcing clarity through effort, mantra practice allows clarity to emerge organically — from a deeper source of wisdom.
