    In this episode of the podcast, we start off by discussing our dissatisfaction with our current phones and our desire to get new ones with more storage. We talk about the low battery percentage and the need for new batteries. We also joke about needing the new phones to attract girls. After that, we shift gears and introduce ourselves, discussing our upcoming birthdays. We express excitement about turning 20 and joke about how we've been saying we're "about to be 20" for a while now. We do our usual intro and share our nicknames and zip codes, clarifying that we don't live at those addresses. We express our love for the podcast and our audience.Despite feeling tired, we push through and start our safe space segment. We discuss our birthday plans and how Libras often feel the "birthday blues." We share our excitement for our upcoming birthdays and consider recording during my birthday weekend. We plan to wake up early to do so. We talk about going to the fair together, although there is a bit of confusion about the location. Despite the jumble of thoughts in our heads, we remain hyped for our birthdays. We discuss the various things Libras have to think about when planning their birthdays, such as requesting time off from work and hoping our coworkers can cover for us. We briefly mention a restaurant we enjoy and the food we like to order there, joking about giving a big tip to our server who needs a new phone.We then discuss the feeling of being overwhelmed with planning for our birthdays and trying to stay on top of everything. We don't want to forget about important things, like we did with the podcast, but we also don't want to burn ourselves out. Despite the stress, we are determined to have a fun birthday week. We discuss who will be the designated driver, and it turns out I'll have to drive because my co-host can't. Moving on, I talk about my first therapy session and how much I loved my therapist. I've been working on myself a lot lately, using a shadow workbook I got from Amazon. It prompts me to reflect on my childhood trauma, flaws, and everything else. I'm proud of myself for doing the work and not resorting to avoidance like I used to. It's not always easy, and sometimes it brings me to tears. Despite the emotional journey, I find moments of levity when discussing my tailor and joking with my friend.We then transition into discussing Taylor Swift's recent tour and attendance at the VMAs. We talk about a book that prompted me to spend five minutes looking at myself in the mirror and talking. I joke about being scared I might see something and be startled. We mention a delivery that arrived unexpectedly and briefly discuss the delivery service. I continue talking about my experience with the prompt from the book, mentioning how I started crying during the five minutes and extended it to ten minutes. I write about what I spoke about and express how the experience affected me emotionally. I recommend the book to others and liken it to therapy sessions.The conversation then shifts to an unpopular opinion segment where I express my dislike for Tokyo Toni. I find her behavior stressful and not funny. I explain that she is too old to be on TikTok and criticize her for cursing out Beyonce and Solange. However, I do express concern for her well-being and acknowledge the different limelights she and Angela White are in. I conclude by reiterating my dislike for Tokyo Toni and questioning the mental health implications of her actions. I mention that I have spoken to others who agreed with my opinion.In the next part of the conversation, I discuss my experience watching the Renaissance tour on TV and YouTube. I give a shout-out to the person who recorded it and emphasize the importance of watching it live. I talk about a specific segment of the tour where voguing takes place, mentioning some of the performers involved. I express that while the performance was great, it still didn't pay enough homage to the history of the Bon Ronde community. I highlight the need for more diversity and representation, particularly for black trans women. I mention a specific person, Leomi Maldonado, who I believe should have been included in the tour.The conversation concludes with speculation about future events involving Beyoncé and a lighthearted discussion about her having a private zoo. We then transition to talking about the possibility of another COVID lockdown and share our contrasting views. I mention that I wouldn't mind another lockdown because I feel like I didn't take full advantage of the previous one and could use the time to better myself. My co-host disagrees and emphasizes how much people thrive off of social interactions. We briefly touch on the toll COVID has taken on education and the high cost of college.
