 In a society ruled by misogynistic views, virginity is kept on a pedestal. Sex for vulva owners before marriage is condemned till today and is considered an act of disdain. Even to this day, the unethical two-finger examination is conducted or an intact hymen is considered to label a vulva owner pure and chaste. In an effort towards liberation, virginity is a step back from salvation.
