 La soviética Valentina Tereshkova es la única mujer que ha ido al espacio sola. En 1963, su proeza inspiró a una Violeta Parra que comenzaba a escribir algunas de sus letras más comprometidas políticamente, muchas de las cuales permanecieron inéditas hasta después de su muerte. Una de ellas es "Ayúdame Valentina", que le pregunta a la cosmonauta qué podemos hacer en la Tierra “con tanta mentira desparramada”.
