Vinícius é autor dos livros "A pele em flor" (Ed. Alfaguara, 2025), “Velhos demais para morrer" (Ed. Malê, 2020) e “Empate” (2015/2018). Seu segundo livro venceu o Prêmio Malê de Literatura, ficou entre os cinco finalistas do Prêmio Jabuti e foi selecionado pelo edital Minha Biblioteca da Prefeitura de São Paulo. Em fevereiro de 2025, atingiu a posição #1 entre os livros mais vendidos da Amazon.
Paralelo à carreira de escritor, Vinícius também é roteirista e produtor. Nos últimos anos, liderou projetos desde a seleção até a finalização, como a franquia LOL Se rir, Já era!, o longa documental Filho da Mãe e a série documental Família Gil.
