Dolnja Pulja je kroz cijelo ljeto svecevala 800-u obljetnicu prvoga imenovanja sela s razlicnimi piredbami. U farskoj crikvi sela su cer posebnom vešperom svetacno završili konac jubilarnoga ljeta. Uz blagoslovljenje panonskih jaslic su se ali u prvom redu zahvalili kot vjerojatno najpoznatijega Dolnjopuljanca, dugoljetnoga kantora i kompozitora Štefana Kociša prilikom njegovoga 95-oga rodjendana.
