 L’écrivaine Valentine Goby sera au rendez-vous du salon du livre du Grand Bivouac pour présenter son roman « L’île haute ». Dans cet ouvrage, au cœur de la seconde guerre mondiale, elle raconte l’histoire de Vadim. Ce jeune Parisien de douze ans, asthmatique, conduit par le train vers un air plus pur pour se cacher. C’est un soir de l’hiver 1941 qu’il va découvrir, au bout d’un tunnel, Vallorcine, dans la vallée de Chamonix. Pour Valentine Goby, « L’île haute » est un récit d’initiatique d’une première fois : celle de la découverte de la montagne au rythme des saisons.
