About this listen

Each episode of 'V H US' features host Dirk Marshall having an in-depth talk with various guests about that week's cult film and what it is like to have the profession portrayed (sometimes very loosely) in the film. Dirk Marshall was raised in a mom and pop video store in a small town. Growing up amongst the illustrious backdrop of VHS Box art, he learned about the world from the works of William Friedkin, Frank Henenlotter, and Penelope Spheeris. Now on VH US he sits down with people who's profession is portrayed in a film to talk about what it is like to have that profession and about the film he has assigned them. Art Social Sciences

  • Season 20: Episode 8- SNATCHERS (feat. Tara Hall )
    Jul 22 2025
We end season 20 with one of Dirk's favorite horror comedies: Snatchers (2019.) Our guest is Tara Hall. You might remember Tara from our episode on the film The Unborn 2. Well with this episode we continue our "mother's in horror" series. We both clearly enjoy this movie and we even play a fun game! Check it out!
