  • How a Child With Cerebral Palsy Found Balance After Years of Therapy
    Dec 10 2025

In this episode of Unraveling the Brain, Dr. Josh sits down with Sarah, the mom of a child with cerebral palsy, to share their journey through neurodevelopmental care and the changes they have seen over time.

Sarah walks through her son’s early medical history, his cerebral palsy diagnosis, and years of traditional therapy. While those therapies helped, progress was slow and many questions remained unanswered. Like many parents, she believed there had to be more potential than what she was being told.

Their first visit to Infinity introduced a completely different way of looking at development. For the first time, primitive reflexes, balance centers, inflammation, and brain energy were explained in a way that made sense. Instead of working only on skills, the focus shifted to building the neurological foundation those skills depend on.

Over multiple intensives, Sarah noticed meaningful changes. Her son’s balance improved. His gait became smoother. His posture changed. During one session, he stood unsupported for twenty seconds, something he had never been able to do before. For Sarah, this was not just a physical milestone. It was proof that his brain was changing.

She shares why this approach felt different from anything they had tried before. The care was individualized. The plan was clear. The focus was on continued development, not a quick fix. She also explains why leaving with tools, exercises, and a home plan made such a difference between visits.

This conversation is for parents of children with cerebral palsy who are searching for answers, wondering if more progress is possible, and trying to decide where to invest their time and energy next. It is an honest discussion about belief, persistence, and what can happen when the brain is supported the right way.

  • How Laser Therapy Holds Up Under a Physicist’s Scrutiny
    Dec 3 2025

In this episode of Unraveling the Brain, Dr. Loren sits down with Aleksandar, a father who traveled from overseas to seek answers for his son. With a background in physics, Aleksandar brings a unique perspective to his family’s journey. His understanding of light, energy, and cellular function gave him a deep appreciation for the science behind Infinity’s neurodevelopmental approach.

Aleksandar shares how traditional therapy reached a plateau for his son, Marco, and why he began searching for a method that supported the brain at a deeper level. After discovering laser therapy and the research behind photobiomodulation, he knew he needed to explore this path further. His scientific training helped him evaluate the evidence, understand the mechanisms, and feel confident in the therapeutic process.

Throughout the two week intensive, Marco made remarkable progress. He became more focused, more regulated, and more connected. His posture improved. His balance and motor control changed. His emotional engagement grew. Aleksandar explains why these changes made perfect sense from a physics and neurology standpoint, and why he believes this approach unlocked abilities his son had been fighting to access.

This conversation gives parents and professionals a clear look at what happens when science driven therapy meets a highly motivated family. It is a story of hope, resilience, and the power of understanding how the brain heals.

  • TWO YEARS in the Hospital to WALKING Again - Rewriting a Child’s Future
    Nov 19 2025

In this episode of Unraveling the Brain, Dr. Loren interviews the parents of Theo, a young girl whose story shows the power of resilience and the potential of neurodevelopmental healing.

Theo’s first years of life were filled with medical emergencies. She was born with intestinal atresia and required surgery within the first 24 hours. More surgeries followed, along with sepsis, liver failure, and long periods of intubation. She spent almost two years in intensive care and was resuscitated multiple times.

Because of her long hospital stay, she missed important developmental windows and entered childhood with significant delays. Her parents tried traditional therapy for years but eventually felt that progress had stopped. They knew their daughter had more potential than her body could show.

That belief led them to Infinity Minnesota for a two week neurodevelopmental intensive. During her time here, Theo made noticeable changes. Her posture improved. Her eye focus became stronger. Her movement opened up. Her muscle tone became more balanced. She engaged with her therapists. She showed more joy, more presence, and more confidence.

Her parents share how Infinity’s brain first approach gave them hope again. They describe laser therapy, movement work, sensory integration, and reflex development that supported Theo’s brain and body as a whole system. They also talk about how it felt to finally see momentum after years of struggle.

Theo’s story is a reminder that healing is possible. When you treat the child as a whole person and support the brain directly, progress can begin again.

If your child has hit a plateau or you feel like you are out of options, this conversation may give you a new perspective on what is possible.
