About this listen

Unobstructed Views is a Chicago Cubs podcast that cuts through lazy narratives, reactionary takes, and surface level analysis.

Co-hosted by a lifelong fan and a baseball savant, the show blends sharp insight with real fan perspective to unpack what’s actually happening on and off the field.

The show was created to bring a much needed female perspective into a space where women’s voices are still underrepresented. Cubs fans don’t all experience the game the same way, and too often women are talked over, sidelined, or boxed into “casual fan” roles. Unobstructed Views exists to change that, without dumbing anything down or softening opinions.

We talk Cubs baseball with context, on field strategy, front office decisions, clubhouse dynamics, and the lived fan experience at Wrigley Field, while pushing back on the same recycled talking points that dominate traditional coverage. That means thoughtful analysis, accountability without theatrics, and an understanding that baseball is played by people, not just spreadsheets.

This show is for every kind of Cubs fan- casual or diehard, who loves the game, values smart conversation, and wants honest, grounded discussion without the noise.
