Anthony “Tony” Costa was tried and found guilty of murdering and dismembering four young women in the Cape Cod area of Massachusetts between 1966 and 1969. The bodies of young women seemed to turn up in whatever area Costa frequented. That much is known. What is not known is the full extent of his criminal career (he is suspected in at least eight other murders), along with his murderous motives, speculated to include necrophilia and cannibalism.
