On the latest edition of “The Parting Schotts Podcast,” host Ken Schott gets you ready for Saturday’s Capital District Mayor’s Cup hockey games between Union and RPI.
On the women’s side, Schott talks with RPI defenseman Kendal Davidson, who has a chance to make history as the first player to win the Cup with both teams. Davidson was a member of Union’s winning team last year. Davidson transferred to RPI in the offseason.
Schott has interviews with Union head coach Tony Maci, Garnet Chargers goalie Monja Wagner, RPI head coach Bryan Vines and forward Nina Christof.
On the men’s side, Schott talks to Union defenseman Nick Young and forward Brandon Buhr, and RPI head coach Eric Lang and forward Brad McNeil.
John Wawrow, who covers the Buffalo Bills for The Associated Press, joins the show to discuss the Bills’ firing of head coach Sean McDermott on Monday.
