  • Oes Gafr Eto?
    Oct 6 2025

The Uncorked team visited Tair Gafr Wines in the Vale of Glamorgan to learn how the owners are making natural wine in a uniquely Welsh setting. They talked about the challenges and rewards of small-scale low-intervention winemaking, tasted the latest releases, and met the animals that share the vineyard.

  • Can you start a vineyard from Facebook Marketplace?
    Aug 28 2025

In this episode of Uncorked: The Welsh Wine Podcast, the team takes their first trip out of the studio and into the vines at St Hilary’s Vineyard. Owners Liz and Peter share the story of how their vineyard began — with one or two surprises along the way (yes, even Facebook Marketplace gets a mention).

Back in the studio, the hosts crack open bottles of St Hilary’s wine, perfectly paired with Ty Caws Welsh cheeses chosen specially for the tasting. Angela brings the local history to life with folk stories from St Hilary, giving the wine an extra layer of flavour.

It was a hot day, Bryn the dog tagged along for his vineyard debut, and this is just the first of many Welsh vineyard visits the team has planned.
