Le hasard nous a déniché un maxi avec un titre beaucoup joué sur l’antenne de Nova au début des années 2000 “Calle Luna Calle Sol” par le MC américano-domenicain Mangu. En 1997, il sort un album éponyme chez Island qui mêle à la fois reggae, ragga, mambo, salsa et rap. Sur ce disque, on retrouve le grand orchestrateur de la Fania, Johnny Pacheco avec des versions remixées de “Calle Luna Calle Sol” qui n’ont pas perdu de leur charme !
