 Cuenta la historia de Brandon, un joven enamorado del espacio, y Estela, su novia. Estela le regala su primer traje espacial y anuncia su primer viaje al espacio. Brandon decide buscar un regalo especial para ella y emprende un largo viaje por diferentes planetas para crear un anillo. Finalmente, llegan juntos a Kepler 22b, un planeta colonizado pero abandonado, donde encuentran una inteligencia artificial llamada Gaia.
