The Journey of Luis and Bobo the Iguana features a blend of real characters (like Bobo, Luis, and his grandparents) and imaginative ones inspired by Aesop's fables. As a child, I often imagined traveling to distant planets, walking through enchanted forests filled with magical creatures, playing hide-and-seek with children from all over the world, or having conversations with whales and beings from outer space. I was captivated by stories, both in books and audio, and used my imagination to “see” the characters and worlds they portrayed.

This is what we want for our children—not just to learn, but to think and spark their own creativity. Storytelling has been an essential teaching tool since the dawn of human language. Audiobooks, in particular, offer kids access to a virtually limitless number of stories, whether at home, in school, or on the go. While they don't replace reading—an invaluable skill—they provide a powerful way to inspire imagination and learning.

"Dr. Obinna Mgbako is a Foot and Ankle Specialist providing comprehensive care to patients throughout the Tri State Area at the offices of Foot & Ankle Specialists of New Jersey. He has vast experience treating a plethora of foot and ankle pathologies, particularly lower leg limb salvage, diabetic wound care and sports injuries.

Dr. Mgbako specializes in revision and complex reparative surgical procedures, as well as minimally invasive and arthroscopic surgical practices. Dr. Mgbako is double board certified, both as a Wound Care Specialist (American Professional Wound Care Association) and a reconstructive foot and ankle surgeon (American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons). He is on staff at Morristown Memorial, Overlook and Rahway Hospitals. He is the current Section Chief of Podiatry at Overlook Hospital. He is a panel member at the Overlook Hospital Wound Care Center where he is adept in the management and treatment of chronic, non-healing foot, ankle and lower leg ulcerations. He currently serves as a medical consultant to Sanuwave Technologies and is a medical ambassador to Thorne Health LLC.

Dr. Mgbako received a Bachelors of Arts degree in Computer Science from New York University where he was deemed a College of Arts and Science Trustee Scholar. He was inducted into the Pi Delta National Honor Society – Gamma Chapter from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine after graduating with honors. He completed his postgraduate residency training at the Morristown Memorial Hospital Podiatric Surgical Residency program where he served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Mgbako is passionate about health and wellness and is an exercise enthusiast. He is particularly interested in sports medicine, nutrition and physical fitness. He is an ardent reader of science, history and technology. He is a fervent leader in the community where he frequently lectures on diabetes, peripheral vascular disease, and the pursuit of health & wellness."
