The Funny Thing About Death is a hilarious memoir of two unconventional girls growing up in the 1970s. They didn’t fit in at the Air Force bases they were raised on or the strict convent boarding school they were sent to. The Air Force was obsessed with communists and the nuns were obsessed with the Virgin Mary, neither of which were of interest to Jo or Annie.

This week’s tyrant is comedian, writer and voice actor Athena Kugblenu, known as Her irredeemable Greatness of Athenaistan

There's only one Athena on this island, and please no Stan's either. If you stand by the door on public transport instead of shuffling down the aisle then you're immediately arrested.

Athena's approval rating used to be 73 percent so Her irredeemable Greatness brilliantly removed the troublesome 27 percent out to the countryside with no technology so they couldn't bother anyone.

This week’s tyrant is comedian Vittorio Leonardi. Known to the people of Katarra as the Supreme Sky Marshall.

Vittoria makes sure crime stays down by randomly surveilling his citizens from his giant tower (known as the Kings Penis) and firing upon any criminals from the cannon that sits atop it. Have a problem with it and the Supreme Sky Marshall offers free base jumping lessons from the top of the tower.
