Il colono bazzanese Trento Erioli, classe 1916, presta il servizio militare in fanteria nel Montenegro dal 1940 all'8 settembre 1943. Dopo l’armistizio, evita la cattura e partecipa alla lotta di Liberazione nella Brigata Italia della Divisione Garibaldi Jugoslavia – Montenegro. Al termine della campagna militare, è rimpatriato l’8 marzo 1945. Rientrato a casa, scrive le sue memorie e conserva le fotografie del tempo di guerra.
