Town of Marilla residents will not have to wait until November to vote on lengthening the town supervisor's term. Town Board members agreed to set a special referendum to change the term from two to four years the night of Thursday, Jan. 8. They have not scheduled the referendum, but Supervisor Earl Gingerich, Jr. expects it to be set for the spring or summer. "We need to check with the Board of Elections," he said.
