Satan is using a phrase to confuse and deceive many into a false security of salvation. Just like in a garden there takes much preparation and work to have the soil ready to receive the seed. Today's teaching will be the start of preparing the soil of the heart to receive the seed of His Word. 

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’Matthew 7:21 -23

Today's Bible Teaching is about the Sheep and the Goats. Sheep are the true followers of Jesus, John 10:27 "My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me." The goats think they are sheep but instead they have been deceived by Satan as today's teaching will reveal to you.

Today's Bible Teaching is about the "shield of faith" or "WHAT SHIELD DO YOU HAVE?". There has always been a war going on between those who call themselves "Christians" and Satan, the intensity of that war will get worse and fiercer as the day of the Lord gets closer and closer.

Many "Christians" have been struck down and wounded and many have surrendered and by doing so they have united with the enemy, Satan. Jesus told us in Matthew 24:10-13 "And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved." Don't just be a "Christian", be a FOLLOWER OF JESUS!

Truth is ABSOLUTE and is the true Light, there is not grey or shady area with Truth because as true and sincere Christians we are grounded and rooted in Truth which is Jesus.

"If you will tell me when God permits a Christian to lay aside his armor, I will tell you when Satan has left off temptation. Like the old knights in wartime, we must sleep with helmet and breastplate buckled on, for the arch-deceiver will seize our first unguarded hour to make us his prey." Charles Spurgeon

The Hebrew word Shema which can be found in Deuteronomy 6:4-9 means "hear and do". When we do not obey Him it means that we truly do not love Him “Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you?" Luke 6:46 Even in our trails and difficult situations, when we question and doubt Him by asking Him "why?", it shows our weakness and that we are struggling to trust Him.
