  • Birthright Citizenship Debate, San Diego Public Surveillance, SR-52 Construction

    The legal battle over President Trump's move to try and end birthright citizenship is far from over according to legal experts NBC 7 spoke to, despite the administration's victory limiting nationwide injunctions. San Diego city leaders held a public meeting to discuss the city's smart streetlight and license plate reader program amid concern the data could be shared with federal immigration offices. Caltrans is hopeful that a project laying concrete 30 feet below SR-52 will help keep the road stabilized and free of bumps.
