About this listen

It's time for Scanner News and I'm your host Brian Hale.

Brought to you by R&C Welding in Gering, Nebraska.

A busy day again on Scanner traffic, so I'll try to get through this for you.

First of all, at 8.46 a.m. a green Pontiac Firebird with Wyoming plates was spotted all over the roadway, unable to maintain lanes westbound on Highway 26 by the North Bayard Area Junction. Unfortunately, troopers were not able to find this vehicle with reporting party saying that they had turned into a residence.

At 12:42 in the afternoon, Avenue I and West 27th Street was the scene of an accident in Scottsbluff. First reported as a semi versus car accident, but as the scene developed, it was determined that it was a tan pickup. It was reported that a semi had just missed that accident but was not involved. No serious injuries in that accident.

And then at 1:14 there was a possible code blue at the Educational Service Unit on Avenue I, 29-year-old female, unresponsive. Thankfully, they were able to revive her when she was transported to the hospital.

Three separate grass fires within a half a mile of each other on I-80 were taken care of by the Sidney Fire Department.

And there was a report in the afternoon that a Mercury Mariner had dumped puppies a half a mile past the eastbound 80 mile marker on I-80. Troopers responded to the area and in conjunction with NDOT were all 1077 or unable to locate any said puppies.

Just after 5pm car versus deer accident on mile marker 6 on highway 26, that was just an hour after a black cow was reported out on mile marker 7. Trooper 488 was able to get that one back in.

That's going to do it for today's scanner news. Thanks again for listening and may God bless.
