Det blev begyndelsen på et bryggeri, der hurtigt satte Thurø på ølkortet med brandet Ø-Bryg.
I dag drives bryggeriet af Gurli og Ask sammen med brygmester Jonathan, der også var med under den tidligere ejer, Erik Nielsen.
