  • #13: do you believe in magic?

In this episode, I’m calling myself and every other dreamer out. For years, I carried the same vision in my head, replayed the same fantasy, and convinced myself that “dreamer magic” would somehow bring it to life. I could imagine every detail with perfect clarity, but I wasn’t taking the consistent action necessary to turn that vision into reality. I talk openly about how dreamers get stuck in the cycle of dreaming without doing—circling the same Pinterest boards, waiting for signs, relying on manifestation, or hoping something external will shift on our behalf. This episode breaks down the difference between imagination and discipline, and why potential feels so intoxicating while execution feels uncomfortable.

I also explore the emotional addiction behind dreaming: the dopamine hit, the sense of possibility, and the escapism that makes fantasy feel safer than action. To make this relatable, I draw parallels to how we romanticize people and relationships based on potential while ignoring reality, and how that same behavior shows up in our creative and professional lives. Through my own birthday reflection, I share how leaning too heavily on dreamer magic delayed my growth and kept me detached from the work required to build what I envision.

If you’ve ever felt like your dreams never seem to materialize, or if you catch yourself waiting for the “perfect moment,” the “right sign,” or the “right energy” to start, this episode will challenge that mindset. I emphasize that dreams are previews, not finished films, and they do not transform into reality without intentional, uncomfortable steps. This episode is a direct activation: stop circling the airport and start taking the small, grounded actions that bring your dream out of your head and into your life. If you’re ready to trade fantasy for forward motion, this is your starting point.

  • #12. dreamers, we have a problem.

In this episode of Thoughts of a Dreamer, I explore one of the biggest challenges I face as a creative and a visionary: the tension between the excitement of a big idea and the discomfort of the small steps required to bring it to life. I talk openly about how easily I can expand a single thought into a fully imagined future within hours, while the reality of actually starting still feels intimidating and slow. I share how that leap from imagination to action exposes a deeper emotional truth—small steps often feel vulnerable, tedious, or even beneath me, especially when the fantasy in my mind feels so complete and effortless.

Throughout the episode, I break down why dreamers like me get attached to the final vision and avoid the early stages of execution. I explore the discomfort of beginner energy, the fear of judgment, the impatience with slow progress, and the safety of staying in my imagination where nothing can go wrong. I ask the questions I’ve had to ask myself: Why do the small steps feel threatening? What am I protecting by staying in the fantasy? What internal beliefs make the process feel overwhelming or discouraging?

By reframing small steps as essential parts of the creative journey rather than obstacles, I remind myself—and anyone listening—that big dreams are built on consistent, incremental growth. I also guide listeners toward a practical next step: returning to the seed of their vision, choosing one small action to take, and noticing the feelings that arise when it’s time to move from dreaming to doing.

This episode is for anyone who has ever been stuck between inspiration and execution, who has ever felt paralyzed by the gap between the idea in their head and the work required to bring it into reality. My goal is to help you understand your own creative patterns, confront the limiting beliefs that hold you back, and begin building momentum toward the dream you keep imagining.

  • #11 - Limiting Belief Series | Pt. 4: how to stop the dreamer's loop
    Nov 11 2025

In this final part of my Limiting Belief series, I’m getting real about something so many dreamers deal with—but don’t always name: that moment when you get excited about a big idea, then suddenly freeze, pause, or disappear from it completely.

I’m sharing the exact loop I’ve caught myself in—the one that convinces us to stop right before momentum hits. I’ll walk you through how limiting beliefs sneak in dressed as logic, how my nervous system still reacts to old scripts (even when I know better), and what it really takes to move forward when fear won’t leave the room.

This isn’t just about mindset—it’s about movement. And this time? I’m flipping the script. Let’s go.
