About this listen
Kendrick did what needed to be done at the Super Bowl. Now it’s our move. We each have a role to play. Mine? I’m a yoga therapist, and I help the Black community—especially Black women—regulate their nervous systems. Because when you can think clearly, when you can breathe, when you’re not constantly in fight-or-flight, you move with power. And they don’t want that.
This isn’t just about feeling better. This is how we hold the line. Because if they can keep us stressed, they can keep us stuck. But when we regulate our nervous systems? We win.
In this episode, we’re talking about three ways Black people can regulate their nervous systems when the world is doing everything it can to keep us on edge.
