  • Ep 5: God Won't Give You More Than You Can Handle
    Feb 14 2021

In episode 5, I discuss Married at First Sight's most EXHAUSTING couple: Chris & Paige. So far Paige has tried to reconcile her horrible treatment with several "churchy" sayings including "God Won't Give You More Than You Can Handle". I attempt to show the dangers of the theology women like Paige have been taught for YEARS under the guise of "faith". There is definitely more to the quote.

  • Ep 4: They Gave Us The Shortest Month For Black History?
    Feb 1 2021

In celebration of Black History Month, I discuss the popular quotes that get repeated year after year, "They Gave Us The Shortest Month" or "Black History Should Be Celebrated 365". These sayings assume that was never the intended purpose of Black History Month. As I dig into the history, it becomes obvious these sayings are nothing short of ironic and leave out important and exciting facts. 2021 marks 95 years since time was set aside to celebrate Black people in history. There is no better time to get back to the origins.  Happy Black History Month!

  • Minisode #1 - Our Country Is More Divided Than Ever Before
    Jan 21 2021

In this minisode of the podcast, I discuss one of the most repeated quotes by the media this month: 'Our Country is More Divided Than Ever Before".  I felt it would be the perfect time to list a few other times in American History where we were just as divided or at least should've been. The minisode is available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts, Stitcher, and YouTube.
