The Church - We believe that the church is the body of Christ (Ephesians 1:22–23), composed of all who have been redeemed by His blood and united to Him through faith (1 Corinthians 12:12–13). The local church is God’s primary instrument for worship, discipleship, fellowship, service, and mission (Acts 2:42–47; Hebrews 10:24–25). The ordinances given by Christ—baptism and the Lord’s Supper—are to be observed faithfully as visible signs of the gospel (Matthew 28:19–20; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26).
